Summer TBR 2018

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a TBR on here! So here is my plan: read as many of these before summer is over and autumn begins. I’ve only got 5 books on this list, but there’s also a few readathons I plan on doing during the whole time.

Book1: My Lady Jane by Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand and Jodi Meadows. This is a Lady Jane Grey retelling that is completely satire. I’ve heard there is talking horses in it, which is just awesome.

Book2: The Summer of Jordi Perez by Amy Spaulding. I really don’t know what it’s about, but it takes place in Los Angeles where I live. It’s also a lgbtq+ book which makes it amazing.

Book3: All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Steifvater. I’ll about half-way through it and I’m hoping to finish it soon! This is a book you should just go in blindly because there’s no real way to explain the synopsis.

Book4: Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco. It is a fantasy about this witch, Tea, who can summon the dead and defeat these monsters. I have gotten a few of the chapters read and I can’t wait to finish it.

Book5: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. It supposedly is a beauty and the beast retelling but with fae. This is a second chance for this book since I DNF’d it at 40% before.

There is a readathon going on in August that I will be partaking in called Thrillerathon. It’s where you read thrillers for 6 days, and we all know I love a good thriller/mystery!

This concludes my TBR and I hopefully will make a posting about the books I choose for the Thrillerathon!
