May Wrap-up 2016

So, this month I think I did pretty good in keeping with my TBR. I only have one book left, which is amazing! Plus I read a lot more than I thought I could this month. I had a small slump, but I overcame it with reading a few extra books.

I did omit a couple books because I wasn’t feeling them after starting them. These Vicious Masks I stopped only a couple chapters into because I wasn’t interested in the characters already. The Diviners I gave up on a chapter into the re-read. Wasn’t feeling like reading it immediately. I did however pick up a few extra books and plan on finishing them by the end of the month and possibly a few more!

Fill-In Boyfriend was so adorable! I plowed through that fast and I look forward to reading more from Kasie West. I also loved and plowed through To All The Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han. It was so cute; I’m glad I revisited it and finished it, now I can’t wait to read the next one. I also read Unhinged and am about to finish Ensnared by A.G. Howard. It’s a retelling of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I also finished The Dream Thieves in the beginning of the month and have yet to read Blue Lily, Lily Blue, but my amazing friends (Meg at: Pitch Black Sky and Kris at: Black Cat Kai ) are sending me a signed copy of The Raven King!!! I’m over the moon excited about this.

I may also pick up and finish the Wolves of Mercy Falls series since I own the last book and I would finish that series finally. The final book left in my TBR is Signs Point to Yes by Sandy Hall; I’ve had this advanced copy for way too long and I wanna read and pass it along to someone else that’ll enjoy it as well. I also want to pick up and read a few of the Arabian Nights stories since I own all of them.

I’m also joining in a read-a-long with one of the wonderful ladies I watch on YouTube this month. I’m excited to start the book next week and get involved in some high fantasy stuff while also reading a lot of contemporary books (it’s summer, so it’s perfect time for those easy reads). I will be doing a follow-up post at the beginning of June (wow, it’s JUNE?!) of what else I read and what books (physical and ebooks) I picked up in the month!
