April TBR 2017
So, this month I plan on just slightly reading whatever I feel like, but I do have a couple of books I want to get to this month. Here is my list, it may also be a bit ambitious since there are TWO book festivals this month and it’s already the 14th haha.
The first book I want to get into and finish is Our Own Private Universe by Robin Talley. It’s about a 17-year-old girl who knows she’s bisexual, but hasn’t really dated girls just mainly guys. She goes off to camp with her church in Mexico and, I’m assuming falls in love with Christa. It sounded like such an amazing read to me and I’ve been in a super contemporary mood.
I also want to finish Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I’m over half-way though it now and I want to finish it and get into the next book, Clockwork Princess which is the final book in the trilogy, The Infernal Devices. I’m loving every aspect of this book and I have to say I like this one better than the first book, Clockwork Angel.
The last of the “I HAVE TO FINISH THESE” is #NERD by Cambria Herbert. I made a good dent into it (around 30% into it) and I don’t even know why I put it down. Rimmel, our main girl has to tutor the football star, Romeo and they both live in completely different worlds. It started out super cute, and I hope it stays that way!
If I have time I’ll start City of Glass by Cassandra Clare. This is the third book in the Mortal Instruments series. I’ve barely started it (I read the introduction haha) and need to read this one to catch up with the TV show, Shadowhunters. I’m hoping to get to this so I can finally watch the recent season and not be spoiled!
That is my main TBR for April, but who knows what I’ll add in with it.
